A solidarity ticketing service

The PARIS’23 – Para Athletics World Championships are meant to be accessible to all.
This is why, since June 2022, a solidarity ticketing system has been set up.
The principle? All people for whom access to leisure activities represents a financial obstacle (school groups from disadvantaged backgrounds, young people with disabilities, etc.) can register by contacting the organizing committee.
The committee will find companies or sponsors interested in financing these solidarity tickets. A helping hand for solidarity that contributes to sport for all.

Meetings Handisport & Employment

Since the beginning of the year, the French Handisport Federation has been organizing Handisport & Employment meetings in each department of Ile-de-France. These meetings foster connections between companies partnered with the World Championships, and candidates in handicapped situations searching for employment, via the networks Cap Emploi, Pôle Emploi, big associations Handicap, without forgetting the Handisport licensees.

These days are an opportunity to establish connections by practicing sports together, learning together, and having fun through various challenges. At the end of these days, some duos will be selected at the end of these meetings to spend a day at the World Championships, with the opportunity toç go backstage and walk on the track of the famous Charléty stadium and to discover the backstage of this unique event.

On Tuesday, July 11, in parallel with this initiative, a job forum dedicated to people with disabilities will also be offered by companies, including some partners of the event. The recruiters present will offer internships, work-study programs, fixed-term contracts or permanent contracts… No less than 200 candidates are expected!

The entertainment and awareness village

Inside the halls of the stadium during the competition there will be a village offering numerous animations and workshops for the general public to raise awareness around the diversity of para sports and their situational challenges. Fans from all walks of life will have the opportunity to meet with athletes, who will visit the village daily to interact with their fans.

On the program: Wheelchair basketball – Visually impaired course – Wheelchair course – Cecifoot – Table tennis – Boccia – Sign language – Partners’ stands – Giant Climate Fresco…
